Lal Bahadur Shastri Inter College

Out here in Karchhana, things move at a bit of a slower pace compared to the main city of Allahabad. Our college has been a part of this community for quite a while. You can find us easily enough if you're traveling through this part of the district. The building isn't anything modern or flashy, just a solid brick structure that has seen a lot of students pass through its doors over the years. We mostly see kids from the local villages and families who have lived around here for generations. During the winters, the morning fog stays heavy over the fields nearby, and the students show up in their sweaters, ready for the day. We don't have a big marketing department or a fancy website. Most of our news spreads through word of mouth at the local market. The teachers here focus on the books and getting the students through their exams so they can find a good path afterward. It’s a lot of routine work, honestly. We spend time making sure the registers are updated and the classrooms are swept. It’s a quiet life in Karchhana, but it feels important to be here for the families who need a school close to home. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just keep going with the windows open for light. It is just how it is. We are proud to be part of the 212301 area. It is a simple life for everyone here.
