Our college is situated in the village and post office area of Kaundhiyara. It’s a quiet part of the Allahabad district, and most of the girls who study here come from the surrounding villages. In the mornings, you can see them walking down the narrow roads or coming on their bicycles. The building is simple, made of brick and cement, and it has stood here for quite some years. We don't have fancy lights or big signs, just the name on the front. During the rainy season, the ground gets a bit muddy, so everyone has to be careful where they step. Inside, the classrooms are basic. We have wooden benches that have been used by many students over the years. The teachers come in from different parts of the area, and we usually sit together in the small office to discuss the day's schedule. There is a lot of green around the college because of the rural location. It is peaceful most of the time, except when the bell rings and all the girls come out for their lunch break. You hear a lot of chatting and laughter then. We just focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the exams happen on time. It's a humble place, and we do what we can with the space we have. Life moves at a slower pace here in Kaundhiyara compared to the main city. We just keep things running day by day for the local students.
