Boys Inter College

Boys Inter College is located in Chheoki, specifically in the Cod area of Allahabad. If you know this part of the city, you know it’s got a very specific feel to it, with the railway and the military presence nearby. Our college is an old institution, and the building definitely shows it. It’s a big, imposing place made of old brick and stone. It’s seen thousands of boys come and go over the decades. We are right in the Cod Chheoki area, so the sounds of the station and the trains are just part of the background here. It’s a bit of a dusty place, and the wind blows through the big open corridors. We don't have any of the modern amenities like air conditioning or cushioned seats. It’s all very traditional—wooden desks that have been carved into by generations of students and tall ceilings that stay cool in the summer. We spend a lot of our time just managing the sheer number of students and making sure the schedule holds up. It’s a huge building to maintain. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. Most people know us because their fathers or grandfathers came here. It’s a straightforward place for local boys to get their education. We just keep to our routine, ring the bells on time, and try to keep some order in the hallways. It’s a very plain, no-frills kind of life in Chheoki. Most of us have been here for years.
