Ganga I College

Ganga I College is situated in Basahi, which is in the Babura district of Allahabad. It’s a bit of a distance from the main city, which makes it a quieter place for a college. We have been here for a while, serving the people in this part of Allahabad. The college building is a simple structure. We don't have marble floors or anything like that. It's just a place for learning. Students come here from the nearby villages and small towns. We mostly focus on providing a space where they can get through their courses without having to travel all the way into the city center. The roads around Basahi can be a bit rough sometimes, especially during the rainy season. We have a small group of staff who handle everything from admissions to teaching. It’s a small team, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. We try to keep the classrooms clean and the library stocked with the books students need. There isn't much to say about us that isn't obvious when you walk in. We’re a local college doing our bit for the community in Babura. It’s steady work. We see the same faces every day and we know most of the families around here. It feels like a very grounded place to work and study. We just keep the routine going and make sure the college stays open for whoever needs it.
