Mangala Prasad Inter College

Mangala Prasad Inter College is located out in Manda, which is a bit of a distance from the main city of Allahabad. The address is 212104 if you are looking for us on a map. Our college has a pretty large open area, but it is mostly just dirt and some patchy grass where the students stand around. It gets very dusty during the summer months, and the wind blows that dust into every corner of the classrooms. We have some old trees on the grounds that give us a bit of relief from the sun. The building itself is sturdy and old, with thick walls that have seen a lot of seasons. We don't have much in the way of modern furniture. Most of the desks are old wood and the blackboards have been used so much they are a bit grey now. The staff room is just a place where we sit and drink tea while we look over the registers. It is a very straightforward place. There are no fancy decorations or big posters. We just show up, open the heavy doors, and get to work. Most of the people who come here are from the surrounding villages in Manda, so everyone seems to know each other's families. It is a bit noisy when classes change, but otherwise, it is a peaceful spot. We just try to keep the roof from leaking when the monsoon hits and keep the place running as best as we can.
