Maa Raj Rani I College

Our college is located in Madanpur, which is in the Dubaha area of Allahabad. It is a bit of a distance from the main city center, which actually makes it a lot quieter and more peaceful for the students. We provide higher education to the young people living in the surrounding villages and small towns. The college building is a fairly large concrete structure with several wings for different subjects. We don't have all the modern luxuries like air conditioning or high-tech facilities, but we have plenty of space and the necessary books. Students usually arrive in the morning on their cycles or by taking the local buses that run through Dubaha. The office is often busy with students checking their exam results or submitting their scholarship forms. During the summer, it gets incredibly hot here, so we all just try to find some shade and keep the fans going. The teachers live mostly in the nearby areas and have been with us for a long time. We have a bit of open ground around the building which gets very green and overgrown during the monsoon season. It is a simple place where the focus is just on getting through the syllabus and helping the students earn their degrees. We don't do much in terms of promotion; the local families just know we are here for them. It is just about getting the work done.
