Smritee Institute

Our institute is located in Kaka Deo, right near the Neer Cheer Choraha. We’re in the lane near Allahabad Bank, at 117/N/46. Kanpur can be a bit chaotic, and Kaka Deo is definitely one of the busier spots for students. We’ve been in this building for several years. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, which is nice because it’s slightly quieter. The rooms are basic, just what you need for studying. We have some old fans that help during the Kanpur summers. We don't have a big fancy lobby with a receptionist. Usually, one of the teachers will just come out and talk to you if you have a question. We don't do any of that corporate stuff where everything is polished and scripted. We just tell it like it is. If a student is doing well, we tell them. If they're slacking off, we tell them that too. The floors are a bit worn down from all the students walking through over the years. We keep a stack of extra notebooks in the corner for anyone who forgets theirs. It’s a practical place for people who just want to get their work done. We stay open late most nights because that's when it's coolest and the students can focus better. There’s a small tea shop just outside the lane where we all go during breaks to get some fresh air.
