Prakash Vidya Mandir College

Prakash Vidya Mandir College is located at 122/230, Darshan, Sarojini Nagar, Purwa, on the Govind Nagar Road in the R K Nagar area of Kanpur 208012. That is a very long address, but it just means we are right in the heart of a busy part of Kanpur. The college is surrounded by houses and shops, so there is always something going on outside our doors. We have students coming in from Sarojini Nagar and all the nearby colonies. It is a typical Kanpur setting—lots of noise, lots of people, and everyone just trying to get through their day. We don’t have any polished corporate mission statements. We just have classrooms where teachers teach and students try to learn. The building, Darshan, is where everything happens. We spend our time managing the classes and making sure the exams are set up correctly. It’s a lot of administrative work that people don't often see. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just have to wait it out or find another way to keep things moving. We don't pretend to be a five-star facility; we are just a local college providing an education to the kids in this part of town. People know us because we have been at this Govind Nagar Road location for a while. It’s just a regular, honest place where the day-to-day work of schooling happens without any extra fluff. I've worked here for a bit now and it's always the same busy routine.
