Alok Girls Inter College

Alok Girls Inter College is situated at 364 Rana Pratap Nagar in Kanpur. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for many years now. It’s an inter college specifically for girls, and we take that responsibility quite seriously without making a big deal out of it. The building is a familiar sight for anyone living in the 208019 area. We have several classrooms and a bit of open space where the girls gather for assembly or during their free periods. Kanpur is a busy city, and Rana Pratap Nagar is no exception. There’s always something going on outside our gates, but once you step inside, it’s a bit more focused and quiet. Our staff is mostly local people who understand the needs of the families living around here. We don't have any shiny brochures or a fancy website to show off. Most of our students come here because their older sisters or cousins did. We see ourselves as a regular part of the daily life in this part of town. The morning bell is a sound everyone on the street knows well. We try to keep things organized, but like any school, there are days when things are a bit chaotic. That’s just part of life when you have so many students in one place. We don't have a massive budget for decorations, so the walls are simple. It’s just a place for learning and growing up, nothing more and nothing less than that.
