If you know Kidwai Nagar, you probably know the Purana Center Chauraha. That is where we are located. It’s right near the Bharat Sevak Samaj School, so there are always kids and families walking around this part of Kanpur. The traffic at the chauraha can be a bit of a mess during peak hours, but that’s just how it is in 208011. Our building isn't hard to spot once you get to the intersection. We’ve kept the place simple because we don't see much point in fancy decorations. The rooms are basic with enough chairs and boards. Most of our day is spent just talking to students or sorting out schedules. It gets hot in the summers, so we keep the fans running full speed. People from the nearby blocks usually just walk over. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure things run okay. Sometimes the tea stall nearby is where we grab a quick break. It’s a very local vibe here. No one wears suits or uses big words. We just try to help out with the lessons and keep the environment decent for studying. If you’re coming from the school side, it’s just a short walk. We’ve been at this spot for some time and the neighbors know us well enough. It's just a regular local institution where we focus on the daily tasks at hand and keep things moving.
