Down in the Panki area of Kanpur, things are mostly industrial and straightforward. That’s where you’ll find our management college, right in Gangaganj. It’s not the most scenic part of town, but it’s where the work happens. We spend our days in the office or the lecture halls, trying to make sense of business theories while the sound of the city goes on outside. The building is functional—it’s got what we need and not much else. We aren't into that flashy corporate style you see in the big magazines. Most of us here are just regular people who have worked in offices or taught for years. My desk is usually a mess of folders and student applications. We have a small canteen where we all grab a quick bite, and the talk is usually about the latest local news or how the semester is going. It’s a bit dusty, and the Kanpur heat can be a lot to handle in the afternoons, but we make do. We focus on getting the students through their courses without too much fuss. It’s a very practical environment. We don't have fancy slogans; we just have a schedule to stick to and a lot of students who want to get their degrees and find a job. We’re just part of the Gangaganj landscape, doing our thing every day and keeping the college running as best as we can.
