Vsm Aerospace

Our place is called Sreelam and it sits on Kissan Kowval Road in Annur, which is near Payyanur. Vsm Aerospace is the business name on the gate. We are in the Kannur district of Kerala. It’s a bit of an unusual business for this area. People usually expect farming or shops, but we work with aerospace things. The office is located in a quiet part of town. You have to drive down the small road to find us. It’s a regular building with a bit of yard around it. We spend our time looking at drawings and talking to suppliers. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the road work nearby. We have a few rooms for the different tasks. It’s not a factory or anything huge. It is more about the planning and the technical side of things. I've lived in Payyanur most of my life so I know the neighbors well. They sometimes ask what we are doing with such a big name like aerospace. We just explain it is about parts and engineering. It is a slow process sometimes. We don't have any fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you come by, you just walk in and find whoever is at their desk. We have a lot of books and manuals piled up on the shelves. It’s a practical workspace for people who like to fix and build things. We mostly work during the daylight hours and close up early.
