Ticketing Staff

Working at Rasheeda Manzil in Mattanur keeps us pretty busy most days. We are basically just a small team of ticketing staff helping people get their travel sorted out. Being near Mattanur means we see a lot of folks heading to the airport or coming back home. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a room with some computers and a lot of phone calls. We spend most of our time looking at screens and trying to find seats for people who need to get somewhere fast. It gets a bit loud when the phones start ringing all at once but we are used to it by now. People from the neighborhood stop by to ask about prices and we just tell them what is available that day. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing person to make us look big. It’s just us sitting here in Kannur dealing with tickets. Sometimes the internet goes out and we have to wait a bit but that’s just how it is here. We try to be helpful when someone is confused about their flight times or bus routes. It’s a straightforward job and we like being part of the community here. Most of our regular customers are people we see at the shop or on the street every day. We just keep things moving and try to stay organized among all the papers. There is always someone coming in with a last minute request and we do our best to check the system for them.
