Our office is in Dharmadam, inside the house called Munera Manzil at Ozhayil Bagam. Indo Foriegn Travel Links Pvt Ltd is the name we use for all the paperwork. It is a small setup here in Kannur. We spend our days dealing with passports and flight bookings for people who want to work abroad. A lot of young men from around here go to the Gulf, so we stay busy with that. The office isn't anything special to look at. Just a couple of desks and some filing cabinets full of folders. I usually have tea around eleven and talk to whoever is waiting. We have a ceiling fan that wobbles a bit but it keeps the air moving. Dharmadam is a nice place, very green and close to the water. Sometimes people just stop in to ask about ticket prices and then they leave. We don’t mind. It’s how things go in a small town. My brother started this years ago and I took over later. We don’t do any advertising. People just find us by word of mouth or they see the name on the wall. The roads around here can be narrow so parking is a bit of a problem if too many people come at once. We just try to keep the paperwork straight so nobody has trouble at the airport. It’s a simple life running a travel place. We mostly just keep regular hours and go home when the sun sets. It is quiet here.
