You can find us at Shreyas in Thottada, which is part of Kannur. Aquarius Group Of Hotels is what we call the business. We have been working in the hotel industry for a while now. This specific spot in Thottada is where we handle most of the administrative stuff. It’s a quiet area, not like the middle of a big city. We deal with the day to day running of the rooms and making sure the staff knows what to do. It isn't always easy. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or we have to find a new cook on short notice. We just deal with things as they come. The building here is just a regular place, nothing too fancy. We have a small office space where we keep the ledgers and records. I usually get in early before it gets too hot. There is a lot of paperwork with taxes and licenses that takes up my time. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on keeping the places clean and making sure the guests have a bed to sleep in. Thottada has a nice beach nearby so we get some visitors who want to see the ocean. We mostly just keep to ourselves and do our work. It’s a family business at the end of the day. We’ve been here in Kerala for a long time now and we plan to stay right here in this office for the future.
