Backwater Ripples, Kumarakom, Kerala

The name says Backwater Ripples, and while everyone thinks of Kumarakom, we are actually based over here in Pariyaram, Kannur. Mr. Sajith Kumar M is the one who handles things at this end. We are located in St. Mary’s Village. It’s a pretty calm spot, tucked away from the main noise of the bigger towns. We do a lot of work connecting people to the water side of things in Kerala. It is mostly about coordinating stays and making sure the travel part isn't too messy. I’ve lived in this area for years, so I know the roads around here pretty well. Sometimes the rain in Kannur is so heavy you can't see the gate, but we still manage to get things sorted. People call us up asking about the backwaters and we give them the honest truth about what to expect. It isn't a huge corporate setup with a call center. It’s just us in the village office.
