It’s a big company name but this is just our local branch here in the village. Mustafa R.P. is the one who mostly looks after things at this spot. The building is easy to find if you know the way through Kandakkai. We handle a lot of different travel needs for the local people. Mostly it is people looking for flight tickets to go abroad for work. We have a few computers that stay on all day. The room can get a bit warm in the afternoon so we keep the windows open. You can hear the goats and the birds outside while we work. It’s a very rural setting for a travel agency. We don’t have a lot of people working here, just a small team. We spend a lot of time on the phone with the main office or the airlines. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in. It’s just how it is in this part of Kerala.
