Adde Farmer Producer Company Limited

Sirjapur is a small place in Kannad, and that is where most of us grew up working the soil. Our group, Adde Farmer Producer Company Limited, actually operates right out of House No 423, which belongs to Vasudev Shivlal Aade. It isn't some fancy building with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a regular house where we sit down and talk about what needs to be done for the upcoming season. Around here, everyone knows everyone, so it made sense to just pool our resources together. Dealing with the crops alone was getting harder every year with the prices jumping around. We handle the paperwork and the selling part of the business from that same spot in the village. Sometimes the meetings go long because there are a lot of opinions on when to sell the grain or which seeds are holding up better against the pests lately. The roads in this part of Tq Kannad can get pretty rough when the monsoon hits, but we manage to get the work done. We are just a bunch of local people trying to make sure our harvests actually bring some money home for our families. It is honest work, and we do it without any big corporate talk. We just focus on the fields and making sure the members here get a fair shake when the season ends and the bags are ready for the market. There is always a pot of tea going and some farmer stopping by to see what the news is for the day.
