Gaykeagro Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of Jawali in Tq Kannad. You can find us over at Sukhadev S Gaykeh’s place, at house number 24. We are just a group of people from around here who decided to work together on the farming stuff. It’s a lot of work every day in the fields, but doing it as a company helps us out with things we couldn't do alone. Most of the time, we are busy checking on the crops or dealing with whatever the weather is doing to us this week. We started this because we needed a way to manage our harvests better and maybe get a better handle on the supplies we need for the season. It’s not a big fancy office or anything, just a spot in the village where we meet up and talk about what needs to get done next. Sometimes the rain is late and sometimes it’s too much, but that is just how it goes for us in Kannad. We handle everything ourselves, from the planning to the actual heavy lifting in the dirt. It feels good to have something of our own here in Jawali. Everyone knows everyone else, so word travels fast if something is working well or if someone needs a hand. We don't have a lot of big talk, just the usual daily routine of looking after the land and making sure the crops are growing right. It's a simple way of living and working together.
