Urjita Electronics

Down here at Sdf-3 in Mepz, Tambaram, you’ll find the team at Urjita Electronics. We’re part of the export zone, so there’s always a lot of security and big trucks moving around the area. Our space isn't huge, but we make it work for the electronics assembly we do. It gets a bit cramped when a big shipment of parts comes in, but we manage to stay organized. Most of our days are spent at long workbenches under bright lights, looking at small parts and circuits. It's quiet work mostly, except for the hum of the machines and the occasional radio playing in the corner of the room. We’ve been in Tambaram for quite some time now, and we’ve seen the area change quite a bit over the years. The staff here are mostly locals who know their way around a soldering iron. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company out there. We just focus on putting things together correctly and making sure they pass the basic tests before leaving. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles with the summer heat, but we keep going regardless. If you come by the Mepz gate, you’ll see plenty of buildings like ours. Ours is just the one where people are busy with wires and components from early morning until the sun goes down. It’s honest work, and we take it one day at a time. No big speeches or fancy promises here, just electronics and steady hands.
