A. D. N. Exports is located right at 1, Thayarkulam Road. If you know the area, you know it’s a place that stays busy with people moving back and forth all day. Our office is a simple one. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just the stuff we need to get through the paperwork and the shipping schedules. Most of the time, the air is filled with the sound of packing tape being pulled or someone arguing with a courier over the phone. We deal with a lot of different items, so the space gets a bit cluttered with samples and boxes stacked in corners. We try to keep things organized, but on busy weeks, that goes out the window. It’s a lot of checking labels and making sure addresses are written clearly so nothing gets lost. The road outside can be quite noisy with the horns and the local market nearby. We usually have the door open to get some air, even if it brings in some dust. It’s a small team here, just a few of us who have worked together for a while. We know each other’s habits and how we like our coffee. There’s no big corporate ladder to climb. We just want to make sure the boxes go out on time and arrive where they’re supposed to. It’s honest work that keeps us on our feet from morning until the sun goes down. We might not be the biggest operation in the area, but we take care of the details that matter. There’s always another shipment to prepare and another set of forms to fill out before we finally lock up for the night.
