We have been working out of Neelankarai for a good while now. Ion Exchange Enviro Farms Ltd is not some big corporate office with fancy glass walls and people in suits. You can find us at 4/210, Kapaleeswarar Nagar. Our days are mostly spent dealing with environmental farms and water systems. It gets pretty hot around here during the summer months, but we just keep at it. People often ask what we actually do all day. Mostly, it is about looking after the land and making sure the systems that keep everything growing are actually working right. It is not always clean work. You end up with dirt under your fingernails and mud on your shoes. We handle the technical side of the exchange processes. My desk is usually a mess, covered in various maps of the plots and stacks of handwritten notes. We know most of the people around this part of Kapaleeswarar Nagar by now. If you walk past our gate, you might see us arguing over a blueprint or just sitting outside having a quick tea break. We do not have a massive sign or anything. Just the name on the wall. It takes a lot of patience to manage these kinds of projects because things do not just grow overnight. You have to wait, fix the pipes, and check the soil again and again. That is just how it goes here. We are not trying to change the world, just keeping our corner of it working properly.
