We have high ceilings and lots of metal shelving where we keep all the stock. It is often quite hot, as you would expect in Chennai, so the fans are always whirring in the background. We don't have a fancy entrance or any modern art on the walls. Mostly, you will see boxes, shipping labels, and people moving pallets around. Our team is small, and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing, whether it is answering the phone or helping to load a truck. We have been at this M G Road address for a good number of years. We know the other business owners nearby and we often see the same faces every morning. We don’t have a big corporate culture; we just have a group of people who know their jobs and get them done without a lot of fuss. Lunch is usually a quick break before we get back to checking the inventory or speaking with customers about their orders.
