Rite Equipments Pvt. Ltd. is based at No.450/6 in the G.K. Industrial Estate over in Alapakkam. It’s an older industrial area and the buildings all look pretty much the same from the outside. Our space is basically a big room filled with different types of equipment and tools. We spend a lot of time moving things around to make room for new shipments coming in or stuff going out for delivery. The floors are concrete and they get pretty cold in the early mornings before the sun hits the roof. We don't have a fancy reception desk or anything like that; you just walk in through the main shutters and you’ll see us working. There is always a layer of dust on everything because of the trucks moving through the estate all day long. We have a few desks in the corner where we keep the ledger books and the computer for doing the taxes and orders. Sometimes the water supply in the estate is a bit patchy so we bring our own bottles from home. Most of the people working here have been with us for years and we all know how the machines work. It’s hard work and it’s often sweaty, but that is just how things are in this line of business. We try to keep things organized but it often gets messy when we are busy.
