Stainless Steel Association

The Stainless Steel Association is based at No.- 7, Airforce Road. It’s a fairly straightforward place to find. The road itself is usually busy with people going about their business, and we are just one of the many offices along the stretch. Our space is not very large, but it’s enough for what we need to do. We have some desks, a few chairs for when people stop by, and shelves full of records and documents. The association has been running from here for a good number of years. It’s a bit of an old-school office environment. We don't have any high-tech gadgets or modern furniture. Most of our equipment has been with us for a long time. Sometimes you can hear the planes from the airforce base nearby, which is a bit of a distraction, but we’ve mostly stopped noticing it after all this time. We spend our days answering letters, taking calls, and helping out the members of the association. It’s a quiet sort of work, mostly involving a lot of reading and typing. We keep a small stove in the back for making coffee and tea. We don't really do much in the way of advertising or making the office look fancy. It’s just a reliable spot where we can get our administrative work done without being disturbed. It feels like home to us after all these years at number 7. We just get through the paperwork one day at a time.
