Sri Vinayaga Fibre Products

Sri Vinayaga Fibre Products is situated at number 13 in Meenakshiamman Nagar, over in the Thirumudiwakkam area. It’s a part of town that has a lot of small manufacturing units like ours. We work with fiber, so there’s usually a bit of dust in the air and plenty of scraps on the floor by the end of the shift. We’ve set up our workspace to be as efficient as possible for the kind of stuff we make. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. We have a few machines that we’ve been using for a long time, and we know exactly how they behave. The neighborhood is mostly other workers and truck drivers coming and going. We don’t really have a sign that’s lit up at night or anything, just the address on the door. Inside, it’s mostly just workbenches and storage racks. We handle the sales, the production, and the cleaning ourselves. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way because we can keep an eye on everything that goes out the door. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a big order, but that’s just how it goes in this business. We don't really have a big staff, just a few local guys who know how to work with the materials. It’s a simple setup, and it works for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work until it is time to go home.
