Sree L D Watch & Co is located at No 32 on 4th Main Road in Nanganallur. We are very close to the Arthanareeswarar Temple, so we get a lot of people who are visiting the temple or just living nearby. It’s a nice, quiet part of the area compared to the main junctions. The shop has been here for years. We aren't a big chain or anything like that. It’s just a local place where we know many of our customers by name. We sell various types of watches, from the simple ones for kids to more traditional styles for older folks. Our shelves are a bit crowded, but we know where everything is. Sometimes the bells from the temple can be heard inside the shop, which is quite peaceful. We spend a lot of time sitting at the counter, waiting for someone to come in with a watch that stopped working. We use small screwdrivers and tweezers to fix things. It takes a steady hand. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. People just know we are here. If a strap breaks or a watch needs a new cell, they walk over. Our shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but we take care of what's inside. We don't have a computer to track the repairs, just a stack of paper slips. You get a slip when you leave your watch. It’s simple and it works.
