Sri Kalki Memorials

We've been here at Sri Kalki Memorials on Thandarai Road for a while now. Most people find us easily enough near Poonamallee Post, right at 6/118-A in Banaveduthottam. It’s a busy spot, especially with the traffic coming through. We spend most of our days working with stone. It’s heavy work, dusty too, but someone has to do it. The yard is usually full of slabs waiting to be cut. Sometimes the sun gets really hot out here in the afternoons, so we try to get the bigger cutting jobs done early. We aren't a big flashy office or anything like that. Just a workshop where we keep our tools and materials. Neighbors stop by once in a while to chat. People come to us when they need something specific for a grave or a site. We just listen to what they need and see what we can do with the stone we have in stock. The machines make a lot of noise, so it’s hard to hear the phone sometimes. If you walk past, you’ll see us out there in our gear. It's just the way things are run here. Nothing fancy, just hard work and heavy lifting. We keep the gate open during the day unless it’s raining hard. It's been a long road getting everything set up, but we're here every day. We don't have a website that is very good, so most people just come in person. We have coffee in the back if the weather is cold.
