Jmj Exports

Jmj Exports is located at 5/66 on Butt Road, right in the St. Thomas Mount area. It’s a historic part of the city, and we’ve been here long enough to feel like part of the bricks and mortar. Our office is a bit of a maze with all the boxes and files we have lying around. We do exports, so there is always something being packed or labeled. It’s a hands-on kind of place. You won't find many people sitting still for long. Usually, we’re checking on a shipment or talking to a driver out on the road. The building isn't anything new or modern, but it’s solid and it serves us well. We’ve got a couple of ceiling fans that squeak a bit, and the floorboards have some character. We don't bother with fancy brochures or a high-tech reception area. If someone comes by, they usually just walk straight in and find us at our desks. It’s a very informal atmosphere, but we take the work seriously. Most of our staff live nearby, so we often walk to work or take the local bus. It’s a practical way to run things. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall; we just have a list of things that need to get on a boat or a plane by the end of the week. That’s enough to keep us busy and focused. We’ve been through good times and slow times here, but the work remains the same.
