Green Gold Foods

We are located in the Ekambara Naicker Industrial Estate over in Allapakkam. Our unit is 2/22, and it’s a standard industrial setup like most of the others here. Porur is a really busy part of town, so there is always the noise of trucks and other factory units nearby. We deal with food products, so we spend a lot of time cleaning surfaces and checking the temperature of the storage. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we have been doing for years. The floors are plain concrete and we have a lot of stainless steel tables for sorting. Most of the day is spent handling inventory and making sure the bags are sealed up tight. We’ve been in this estate for a bit and know the other business owners around the block fairly well. The heat can get pretty bad in the afternoons, so we keep the big industrial fans running all the time. There is a small tea stall just outside the estate gate where we usually go for a quick break in the morning. We don't have a fancy office upstairs, just a small corner with a wooden table and a computer for the bills and records. Everything else is dedicated to the food items we handle. It gets very dusty outside with all the construction going on in Porur, so we stay on top of the cleaning every day. It’s a straightforward operation. We just come in, do the work, and head home. That is all.
