Goyal Marble & Granite Neelangarai

You can find us right on E C R Road in Neelankarai, at number 1/540. Being on the coast road means we get a bit of a breeze, but the salt air isn't always great for the equipment. We keep a large stock of marble and granite out in the open where people can see the different colors and patterns. It’s a pretty simple setup. We have a small office where we do the paperwork, but most of our time is spent out on the lot. The traffic on ECR can be quite something, especially on the weekends, so getting deliveries out can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. We don't try to act like a big corporate entity. We are just a local stone yard where we know the names of the truck drivers and the builders who come by every week. Sometimes the sun is really beating down and we have to take breaks in the shade, but the work always gets done. We handle the slabs carefully because they can crack if you aren't paying attention. It’s a lot of physical labor, lifting and shifting heavy pieces of rock all day long. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a good stretch now, and we like being right here where people can easily pull over and take a look at what we have in stock.
