K S Sekar Tiles

People around Uttiramerur know us mostly because we are right on Bazzar Street. If you go past the HP petrol bunk, you can’t really miss our place at 117. We’ve been running K S Sekar Tiles for a good while now. It's a family thing, really. We keep a lot of different tiles in the back, from the plain ones for floors to things that look nice on walls. Usually, people come in when they are fixing up a bathroom or maybe building a small house nearby. It’s a busy street, so it gets a bit dusty sometimes, but we try to keep things organized so you can actually see what you're buying. Sometimes we have a lot of help around, and other days it’s just one of us handling the heavy boxes. It’s not a fancy showroom like the ones you see in the big cities, but it works for what people need here. We get a lot of regulars who just drop by to ask about prices or see what new patterns came in last week. If you need something specific, we usually try to find it, though it takes a few days if it’s not in the shop. We don’t do anything too complicated. You come in, look at the tiles, and if they fit what you’re doing, we load them up. That’s pretty much how it goes every day. It's just a local shop trying to stay busy and keep the shelves full. We don't have a website or anything, so most people just find us by walking past.
