Ulttima Designer Tiles

We've been here on Velachery Main Road in Pallikaranai for quite a while now. Dealing with tiles is what we do every day. It's funny how people think tiles are just squares you walk on, but there is a lot more to it when you actually start looking at the patterns and how they feel. Ulttima Designer Tiles isn't a huge corporate chain or anything like that. It is just us here in Chennai trying to help people find something that looks decent for their floors or walls. The shop gets a bit dusty sometimes because of the traffic on the main road, but that's just part of being in this area. We have stacks of different designs shoved into the corners and we usually know where everything is, even if it looks a bit crowded to someone walking in for the first time. Sometimes people come in knowing exactly what color they want, and other times they just stare at the walls for an hour. We don't mind either way. It’s a job that keeps us busy, especially when a big shipment comes in and we have to move everything around. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, more shops popping up and the road getting busier, but we’re still right here at number 187. It’s a straightforward business. We show you the tiles, tell you how much they cost, and that’s about it. No fancy talk or hidden things.
