Exact Equipments

Our shop is located on Railway Station Road in Alandur, right at number 78. You can always hear the trains pulling in and out of the station nearby. It becomes a kind of background noise that we don't even notice anymore. Exact Equipments is where we spend almost all of our time. It’s a bit of a tight space inside, but we’ve managed to cram in all the tools and workbenches we need over the years. We work on all sorts of mechanical gear and smaller equipment. Sometimes the other shopkeepers from the street come by just to chat or to borrow a wrench for a minute. It’s a friendly enough neighborhood even though it stays very crowded most of the day. The street outside is always full of people rushing to catch their trains. We started this business because we just liked taking things apart and fixing them. We don't have a big sign or any bright lights out front, just the name on the door. Inside, the shelves are packed with parts we’ve saved up. We probably should organize it better, but you never know when a specific bolt or an old bracket will be exactly what a customer needs. It is just us doing the work day after day. We don't do any marketing or fancy promotions. People usually find us because a friend told them we know our way around a machine. It’s a simple way to make a living for our families.
