We spend a lot of time at our spot in Bahadur Bagicha Pada just trying to plan for the next season. It’s a humble setup, nothing like those big corporate offices in the cities. We have some basic equipment and a lot of registers that we try to keep updated. People from around Bhawanipatna come by to talk about their crops and see if the company can help with selling them. It’s often loud with everyone talking at once. We don't have any fancy marketing people. We just tell it like it is. Some years the harvest is good and we all celebrate, and other years we just have to tighten our belts. We’ve been working together for a bit now and it’s slowly coming along. Most of us have lived here all our lives, so we know the land and we know the people. We’re just trying to grow the food and make sure the farmers get something back for their sweat. It’s a long road but we’re on it together.
