Thuamulrampur Farmer Producer Company Limited

We're a group of farmers from Th.Rampur in Kalahandi. You can find us at Kamaraghat, mostly at Suresh Naik’s place. We used Khata No-36 and Plot No-1/279 for our registration. Being a farmer producer company means we all chip in to get things done. It’s not always easy here in Orissa, especially with the hills and the distance from big markets. We mostly look after each other's crops and try to find better ways to sell them. We don’t have a fancy lobby or assistants. It's just us and the land. If you visit, you'll see we are just regular folks. We spend a lot of time talking about seeds and the weather. Our office is simple, just a room with some chairs and ledgers. We try to keep track of everything, but sometimes it gets disorganized when harvest starts. Kalahandi is a tough place to work sometimes, but it's home. We've got a lot of members now, all from around Th.Rampur. Suresh helps keep the records straight. We aren't looking for awards or anything. We just want to make sure the work we do pays off for the families involved. It’s a collective effort, really. We share the tools and the knowledge we have. It’s better than working alone. That’s pretty much us. Just farmers trying to do right by their neighbors and the land we've got.
