Spectra Exim

We’re based in Bhandari Bhavan over in Ummedpura. It’s a busy place with a lot of movement throughout the day. Spectra Exim is basically just us in this office, surrounded by ledgers and shipping documents. Ummedpura has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of it over the years. The office isn't anything to brag about—just a place where we sit and make sure everything is moving where it needs to go. We spend a lot of time checking schedules and making sure the paperwork matches up. Sometimes things get delayed and we have to spend the whole day on the phone trying to track things down. That's just part of the job, I guess. We have a few windows that look out onto the street, so we see the vendors and the traffic all day long. It can be a bit noisy, but you stop noticing it after a while. We aren't big on fancy meetings or corporate talk. We just focus on the task at hand and try to keep things moving. The coffee machine in the corner is probably the most used thing in the room. Most of the people who come by are delivery drivers or people we’ve known for years. It’s a straightforward life here at Bhandari Bhavan. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to do our work well and get through the week. We might close early on Saturdays.
