Pawan Wholesellers Pvt. Ltd. is located on Ram Rishi Ashram Road, near the Siwanchi Gate in Gaddi. This part of Jodhpur is quite traditional and the streets are narrow and busy. Being a wholesaler means our place is usually packed with crates and boxes from floor to ceiling. It can be a bit of a maze inside. We deal with all sorts of goods, and the inventory changes pretty quickly. The front of the shop is where we handle the orders, and there is usually a lot of shouting back and forth to the guys in the back to check on stock levels. Ram Rishi Ashram Road is a noisy place with plenty of bikes and carts passing by. We start our day early to receive the new stock before the road gets too blocked up. The building is old and has that solid feel to it, though it can get a bit stuffy in the afternoons. We have a small cooling fan near the main desk that helps a little. Most of our customers have been coming to us for years, so they know the drill. We don’t have a fancy display or a website that we use much. It’s all about the physical goods and the people who come in to buy them. We just try to keep the boxes moving and stay on top of the orders.
