Shiv Prints

Shiv Prints is tucked away in the Nakoda Industrial Area, specifically at Plot No. 991/740/4 in Basni Phase Ii. Jodhpur gets incredibly hot in the summer, so our workspace can feel like a furnace sometimes, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We do printing work here, and the smell of ink is something you never really get out of your clothes. The floor is usually covered in scrap paper or bits of trim that didn't make the cut. It’s not the neatest place you’ll ever see, but we know where everything is. Being in M. I. A. means there’s always a lot of movement around us. We see the same faces every day, mostly other workers from the nearby units. We don’t have a website or anything like that because word of mouth usually does the trick for us. Most people just drop by the plot when they have something they need printed. Sometimes the machines act up and we spend half the day fixing them instead of running them. That’s just part of the job. We keep a small kettle in the corner for breaks. It’s a simple setup at Shiv Prints, nothing fancy. We just focus on the stack of orders on the desk and try to finish them before the end of the shift. We’ve been at it for years and don't plan on changing much about how we operate.
