Dharamveer Textiles

Dharamveer Textiles is located at E-333 on Road No. 8 in Basni Phase II. It’s a long road and there’s always a truck blocking the way somewhere. Our place is basically a big shed filled with fabric. We spend a lot of time counting stock and moving boxes around. It’s not the most exciting job, but it keeps us busy. The air always smells a bit like raw cotton and dye. We’ve been at this address for a while now, and the neighbors are all in the same business, so we help each other out with loading or if someone runs out of packing tape. I remember one time we had so much fabric we had to stack it out in the hallway for a day. The guys on Road No. 8 were good about it, they just walked around it. That’s the kind of neighborhood this is. We don't use any fancy software to track our inventory, just some thick notebooks and a pen that we're always losing. It's a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. The sun sets right behind our building, which makes the afternoons a bit cooler than in the morning. We usually have our last round of tea then. It’s a steady routine. We just show up at E-333, do the work, and make sure the fabric is ready when the trucks show up.
