Ek Textile

Our workshop for Ek Textile is located over in Basni Phase II, which is a pretty well-known part of the M. I. A. industrial area here in Jodhpur. The address is E-15, and if you know this side of town, you know it gets quite busy with all the trucks and loaders moving around. We spend most of our days surrounded by fabric and the sounds of the machines. Jodhpur can get really hot, especially in the afternoons, so we just keep the fans going and stay focused on what is in front of us. It is not a shiny corporate building; it’s a working textile unit where things get a bit messy with threads and scraps everywhere. We have been in this spot for a bit, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the industrial estate. Most of the people working here live nearby or commute from the other side of the city. We don't spend much time on fancy talk or marketing. We just make sure the orders are moving along. The E-15 unit is our home base where all the cutting and packing happens. It’s a simple life of managing materials and keeping up with the schedule. Sometimes the power goes out or things get delayed, but we just deal with it as it comes. It is a honest way to earn a living in the heart of Jodhpur’s industrial zone.
