Rani Saree Corporation is located at E-219 in the M. I. A. Basni Phase II area of Jodhpur. If you spend any time in this part of the city, you know it is the heart of the local industry. Our place is usually full of different colors and fabrics stacked up. It is a bit of a maze sometimes with all the bundles waiting to be moved or packed. We don't have a polished showroom with bright lights; it’s more of a warehouse and workspace combined. The heat in Jodhpur can be a lot, so we keep the windows open when we can. We have been operating from this E-219 spot for a good while. The staff here knows the routine well, from checking the materials to getting them ready for transport. We aren't big on using corporate language or making grand promises. We just handle the sarees and make sure things are going where they need to go. The industrial estate has a lot of dust and noise, but we just get on with it. It’s a local operation through and through. Most of us have lived in Jodhpur our whole lives. We don't spend money on fancy decor. We just focus on the piles of cloth and the daily tasks. It is a simple, busy life in the Basni area, and we are happy to be a part of it.
