Ganesh Impex

We are over at E-513 in Basni Phase II, Jodhpur. Ganesh Impex is mostly about moving goods in and out. The warehouse is usually stacked pretty high with crates and bags. It’s a lot of paperwork and making sure the labels match the contents. We spend a lot of time on the phone with transporters and checking the weather to see if the trucks will be delayed. It’s a small team here. We don't have any fancy titles, everyone just jumps in to help when a delivery arrives. The office gets a bit cramped when we have too many samples lying around, but we manage. Jodhpur is a hot place, especially in this part of the industrial area where there isn't much shade. The dust here is something else. We spend half our time dusting off the boxes before we send them out. It’s a losing battle, really. Our office chair has a squeak that we’ve tried to oil a dozen times, but it won't go away, so we just live with it now. It’s those little things that make the place feel like ours. We don't have a big corporate hierarchy here. If the floor needs sweeping, the boss grabs a broom just like anyone else. We don't have a fancy boardroom, just a couple of plastic chairs around a metal desk. It's practical and it works for what we do.
