Our little group is based out of Birenderbirohar’s place, which is house number 145 over in Jhajjar. If you know the area, it is pretty easy to find once you get into the 124106 zip code. We decided to call ourselves Baba Raghunath Farmer Producer Companylimited because the name means something to the people around here. It is not some big corporate building with glass walls, just a regular spot where farmers from the neighborhood come to sit down and figure out the season’s work. Most days, you will find a few of us just talking about the weather or the state of the soil. Jhajjar can be a bit tough when the heat kicks in, but we manage to get things done. We had to register the name and everything, which was a bit of a headache with all the paperwork, but now it is official. Birender lets us use his space so we have a central point to meet. We are mostly concerned with the local crops and making sure everyone in our group has what they need for the planting. It is a simple way of working. We don't have a fancy marketing team or anything like that. It is just a few of us trying to make the farming life a bit more organized. Sometimes the dogs are barking in the yard while we try to look over the accounts. It is just a normal part of life here in this corner of Haryana.
