Jahazgarh Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our base is at building 121 in the village of Jahazgarh. We are part of the Jhajjar district, and most of us have lived here our entire lives. This producer company is a way for us to manage the local farming more effectively. It’s not a big, polished operation. We use the space to decide which crops we should focus on and where to send them once they are harvested. Jahazgarh is famous for its cattle, but the crops are just as important to us. The soil here is good, but it takes a lot of work to keep it that way. We don't have a team of experts. It’s just us farmers sitting around and figuring things out. Sometimes the tractors break down at the worst time, or the rain doesn't come when it's supposed to. We just take it as it comes. There’s no marketing department or fancy slogans here. If you want to talk to us, you just show up at the village and ask around. We aren't trying to change the world. We just want to make sure the farmers in our village get a decent deal. It's a very practical kind of life, centered around the seasons and the market prices. We are just honest people doing the work that needs to be done every day in our fields.
