Daniya Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of House Number 447 in Birohar. That’s in the Jhajjar district here in Haryana. If you know the area, it's a quiet spot. We are a group of farmers who decided it was time to put our heads together. Instead of everyone doing their own thing and struggling, we formed this company. It's not a corporate setup with suits and ties. Most days, you'll find us in our work clothes, probably talking about the last rain or why the tractor is making that weird noise again. We use the house as our main point of contact. Being in Birohar means we are close to our fields, which is the most important thing for us. We handle the usual stuff that comes with farming—buying inputs and trying to sell what we grow for a fair price. Some days are slow and we just sit around the house and plan for the next season. Other days, it’s a total mess of phone calls and lifting bags. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the farmers in our little corner of Jhajjar have a bit more say in how things go. It’s honest work. Sometimes we make mistakes with the forms, but we get there in the end. Everyone in the village knows where House 447 is, so it’s easy to find us.
