Chaudhary Duli Chand Farmers Producer Company Limited

This is Mohinder Singh. I’m the son of Duli Chand and we run things from house 164 in Bhali Anandpur. It’s a Rohtak address, number 98 on the local map. We called the company Chaudhary Duli Chand Farmers Producer Company Limited to keep the name going. It’s not a big office with glass windows. It’s just a room in our home where we keep the files and talk to the other farmers. We have a few chairs and a desk that’s seen better days. People come by at all hours, usually with questions about their yields or wanting to check on some paperwork. Rohtak weather is what it is, hot and then very wet. We just manage. We don't have a receptionist or a coffee machine. If you want water, you go to the tap. It’s an honest way to spend the day. My father taught me to be direct with people. We try to keep the records straight so nobody gets confused. The village is where we belong. Being a producer company means a lot of paperwork, which isn't the fun part of farming, but we do it. The house is easy to find if you know the neighborhood. We are usually around unless we are out in the fields seeing how things are growing. It’s a simple setup for a lot of work. We aren't trying to impress anyone, just doing our daily tasks.
