Kheri Hosdarpur Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are based out of Kheri Hosdarpur in Jhajjar, and that is where all of us come from. There is not much more to it than a group of people who have spent their whole lives working in the dirt. We decided to call it Kheri Hosdarpur Farmers Producer Company because that is exactly who we are. We don't have a big fancy office building or a bunch of people in suits. Most of the time, we are just in our work clothes, dealing with the daily stuff that comes with running a farm in Haryana. Whether it is the irrigation or the pests or just trying to find a truck to take the bags to the mandi, there is always something to do. We don't really do the whole promotional thing. We just tell it like it is. Some years are good and some are just plain bad, but being together makes it a bit easier to handle. We share what we know and help each other out when someone’s tractor breaks down or when the labor is short during harvest time. It is just the way we have always done things in the village, only now we have a name and a bit of paper to make it official.
