Sulikhera Farmer Producer Company Limited is based over on Daroli Road in Adampur village. We work out of Sukhbir Singh's place, he is the son of Sh. Dharampal. If you are looking for us, just head down that road and ask for the house. We started this because the farmers around here needed a better way to handle the business side of things. It’s a lot of work managing the crops and the sales at the same time. Most of us grew up in Adampur and have known each other since we were kids. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It's just a practical space where we can meet up and decide on what needs to be done for the season. Some days are longer than others, especially when the weather isn't helping. We focus on the daily tasks of the producer company without making a big fuss about it. Being on Daroli Road makes it easy for the trucks to come and go. We try to keep the paperwork simple so we can spend more time in the fields. It is a local effort through and through. Sukhbir keeps an eye on the office stuff while the rest of us are out and about. We just want to make sure the farming in this part of Adampur stays steady and we get a fair shake. It’s just us doing what we’ve always done.
