Rasoi Thali

Rasoi Thali is located right on Station Road in Jalgaon. Being near the railway station means we see all sorts of people. Some are just passing through town on a train and have an hour to eat, while others are locals who have lived in the 425001 area forever. Our focus is just on the thali. We think a full meal on one plate is the most sensible way to eat, so that is what we do. The noise from the station is something you get used to after a while. We don't have any polished speeches about our food. We just buy the vegetables fresh from the market every morning and get to work. The kitchen is small and it gets quite warm, but that’s part of the job. We have a few wooden tables that have seen a lot of use over the years. We don't bother with fancy decorations or corporate designs. We just want the place to be clean and the food to be ready on time for the next train arrival. It’s a busy life here on Station Road. Sometimes we are so packed people have to wait outside, and other times it’s just us and the ceiling fan. We aren't a big chain, just a local Jalgaon spot where we work hard and hope for the best. It’s simple, practical, and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk.
